Onward
I miss Edinburgh and all my friends, new and old i met there. Now i am in Oslo and it struck me as to how much i missed this city in the mean time.
It was not at all easy getting here. After a one hour delay out of Edinburgh followed by a one hour delay in T5, before being herded onto a plane only to be told it would be two hours before we were cleared to fly. A little sprinkle of rain and Heathrow falls apart. Not normally a problem, delays happen. However, when flying into Oslo the train is the most economical way to get into the city. the last train leaves at about 0100, which is well before i landed.
The taxis cost about 900 kroners… thats a lot. especially when they take you to the wrong address and you have to find another, more adequate driver to finish the job the other one started.
The further stories of that night still make us giggle two days on, however, I will not document them here. I am simply trilled to continue with my holiday.
