I have now experienced the full range of activities associated with riding a fixie. This one i call “riding too fast and making friends with exposed aggregate”. I am delighted by my reaction to the crash, the clarity of mind and “save my stuff” roll which i would love to have on tape. Not so keen on the smear of blood on the handle bars, hole in one hand and scrapes to arm and shoulder.
