An important film every one should see. This is not to say everyone will like it, far from it. It’s heavy, confronting and brutal. With a running time of 2½ hours, it barely scratches the surface of the activities the Rote Armee Fraktion engaged in. The genuine media footage of the events, used throughout the film, enforced the chilling reality of Europe’s recent history and offers insight into why governments now handle terrorism in the way they do, for better or for worse.
