Missing luggage
I have arrived in Edinburgh after sitting on the tarmac for over two hours in anticipation of a barely one hour flight. BA had packed a bag but not the person it belonged to. African lay-over
All at once the cabin is lit by the dazzling African sun. The earth and sky blend from orange to aqua marine, never quite reaching the deep blue I am accustomed to. There is no visible horizon, which is masked by the same amber haze which seems to hang everywhere. While the climate inside the aircraft hadn’t changed, I convince my self it had become warmer. Paging Mr. Rust
I have never before been the person urged along over airport PA while a aircraft full of people sit and wait.
My first flight scheduled to depart at 0655 from Brisbane was delayed first for unspecified reasons then, after we had been boarded, a “container weight discrepancy”. The last time I flew internationally, I was delay by a wasp which had built a hive in the air speed meter, only in...

Apple: Great Product, Creepy Fans.
The reaction to the launch of Sydney’s Apple store surprised me. I had no idea there was such brand fanaticism in Australia. I expect this reaction from the States and Japan, what’s happen to the apathetic Australian. I am a little disappointed. It will be interesting to see how this opening effects existing retailers which up until now have maintained the fan base in Australia. Fans...

I am looking forward to Place Makers, we have a few promo cards hanging in the studio. Dan Hill once again offers a great review of the issues.

Adorable colour and texture, clever modification. I have been meaning to try something similar, only where Remyyy uses a magnifying glass i would like to try a pinhole.

I have had sketches of a rim like this, which i had based on single spoke steering wheels of the past, sitting on my desk for some time. i am trilled to see that it is in fact possible!
Riding a fixed gear bike is like riding a “big wheel” when you were little. Its...

v3.0rc1 is now my primary install of FireFox. Seems sufficiently stable, the new features make it well worth the premature shift.

Just brilliant! i haven’t felt so refreshed by a short film a long while. For the Birds is the last one to have had such an effect. Read about the project here.
